Casandra Alexander won her second career title on the Ladies European Tour when she claimed the 2026 KPMG Women’s Irish Open by three shots. She has had five runners-up positions this season and tops the LET Order of Merit.

Justin Harding won the Irish Challenge on the HotelPlanner Tour by one shot from fellow South African Louis Albertse and France’s Mathieu Decottignies-Lafon. A further one shot back was Martin Vorster. A week earlier, Bryce Easton was the leading South African at the Scottish Challenge, finishing T20th.

Luke Brown powered his way to a second Sunshine Tour title with a closing 64 to win the Sunbet Challenge Time Square Casino at Wingate Park Country Club. Brown had rounds of 67, 66, 64 to win by two shots.

Austin Bautista captured his second Sunshine Tour title by winning the FNB Eswatini Challenge at the Ezulweni Golf & CC by two strokes. The Australian ended on 17 under par, with the South Africans Herman Loubser and Dylan Mostert and Frenchman Benjamin Kedochim sharing second on 15-under.

Lisa Coetzee and Lourenda Steyn made the cut for the match play 64 at the R&A Girls’ Amateur Championship in Craigielaw, Scotland. Steyn reached the quarter-finals, while Coetzee was beaten in the semi-finals.

Alexander Frankel and Henru Walters made the cut for the match play 64 at the R&A Boys’ Amateur Championship at Glasgow Gailes Links, Scotland. Frankel was beaten in the round of 64 while Walters lost in the Round of 32.

Number of shots that Darren Fichardt won the Staysure PGA Seniors Championship at Trump International in Aberdeen. He shot rounds of 66, 73, 69, 68 to win on 12-under-par, five clear of Mikael Lunberg. Hennie Otto (-2) was T7th, Keith Horne (+2) was T25th and Adilson da Silva (+3) T27th.

Shaun Norris tied for seventh at the DP World Tour’s Nexo Championship at Trump Internatioal Golf Links in Aberdeen, six shots behind winner Scott Jamieson. Norris held a share of the lead with nine holes to go. He closed with a 76 for 283 after earlier rounds of 72, 69, 66.

Retief Goosen ended the month at No7 on the Official Senior World Golf Ranking after finishing second at The Ally Challenge, three shots behind Steven Alker. Goosen closed with a week’s joint low score of 64 for a 12-under total of 204.

The 2022 AIG Women’s Open champion Ashleigh Buhai finished T23rd in this year’s Major at Royal Lytham & St Annes. She shot rounds of 69, 76, 68, 74 for three-over-par 287. Casandra Alexander finished 68th with a 14-over 298 total. Japan’s Shiho Kuwaki (-5) won on a playoff.

Christiaan Bezuidenhout finished T38th and Erik van Rooyen T67th in the Wyndham Championship at Sedgefield CC. Bezuidenhout ended on 273, while Van Rooyen shot 277. Neither progressed to the Last 70 bubble for the St Jude Championship. Aldrich Potgieter qualified for the latter where he finished T61st on +6, but fell out of progressing to the BMW Championship.

Lee-Anne Pace had rounds of 71, 78, 74, 71 for 294 to end T42nd at the PIF London Championship at Centurion Club. Caitlyn Macnab was a stroke behind for T46th. Cara Gorlei (+4) missed the cut by one shot, while Casandra Alexander (+5) also missed the cut.

Ashleigh Buhai had a T54 finish at the Standard Portland at Columbia Edgewater CC, for a five-under total of 283. She had rounds of 69, 69, 72, 73. Paula Reto missed the cut, which was set at four-under. Buhai then placed T23rd at the CPKC Women’s Open at Royal Mayfair GC.
