Altin van der Merwe claimed his first Sunshine Tour title at the FBC Zim Open at Royal Harare GC. He shot rounds of 64 and 68 on the weekend to finish on 21-under par and win by four strokes.
Ian Snyman only made three bogeys all week in winning his first title on the Asian Tour, the Taiwan Taifong Open. He shot rounds of 68, 67, 69, 69 to win by two shots with a 15-under-par total of 273. Jbe Kruger tied for 9th and Justin Harding tied for 31st.

Years between wins on the DP World Tour for Richard Sterne who claimed his first on the tour since the 2013 Joburg Open. He came from behind to win the Soudal Open in Belgium to win by two strokes. MJ Daffue finished T8th along with 54-hole leader Zander Lombard

Yurav Premlall won his first DP World Tour event when he romped to a 14-shot win over countryman Shaun Norris in the Catalunya Championship in Barcelona. The 22-year-old Prelall had rounds of 70, 64, 63, 63 for a 28-under-par total of 260, while Norris shot 64, 74, 68, 68.

Both Garrick Higgo and Erik van Rooyen tied 19th at the PGA Tour's The CJ Cup Byron Nelson, won by Wyndham Clark, who shot a final round 60. Christiaan Bezuidenhout missed the cut by one shot and Christo Lamprecht missed the cut by three shots.

Ernie Els hit his 24th career hole-in-one during the final round of the Regions Tradition on the PGA Tour Champions. The 'Big Easy' used a 5-iron on the 193-yard 14th hole to secure the ace. He finished T8th behind Stewart Cink in the second 'Seniors' Major of 2026.

Both Christiaan Bezuidenhout and Aldrich Potgieter finished T35th at the PGA Championship on one-over par 281. Potgieter had been joint leader (-3) after round one. England's Aaron Rai (-9) won his first Major. Casey Jarvis (+6 was T65th), while Garrick Higgo and Jayden Schaper missed the cut at Aronimink GC.

Aldrich Potgieter was the only South African (T48th) in action at the PGA Tour's Truist Championship. The event was won by Norway's Kristoffer Reiten, the 2025 Nedbank Golf Challenge winner, who was also picking up his first PGA Tour title.
Retief Goosen was one of five golfers to shoot a tournament low 65 in the second 'Seniors' Major of 2026, the Regions Tradition. The others were Stewart Cink (who won), Scott Hend (2nd), Alex Cejka (T5th) and Ken Tanigawa (T11th). Goosen was 19th with Ernie Els T8th.
