Casandra Alexander chipped in for eagle on the 18th at Royal Beroun to card a course-record 62 and win the Tipsport Czech Ladies Open. The South African was six back before the start of play and went bogey-free, carding six birdies and two eagles to secure a two-shot victory on 17 under par.

Jayden Schaper reached a career-highest 168 in the world after his tie-10th-place finish at the Italian Open. He moved up from 175th and was the top South African finisher at the event.

David Watts has been accepted into the field for two major international events in 2025. He’ll be heading to the US Adaptive Open at Woodmont Country Club, Maryland from 7-9 July, followed by the EGA European Championship for Golfers with Disability at Bokskogens Golfklubb in Sweden from 28-30 August.
GolfRSA's No 1-ranked Bobbi Brown finished strongly in tie-sixth at the English Women's Open Strokeplay Championship at Alwoodley Golf Club in Leeds. She fired rounds of 70, 73, 75 and 74 to finish on level-par 292.

Ashleigh Buhai missed the cut at the US Women’s Open at Erin Hills and the KPMG Women’s PGA at PGA Frisco by only one shot. Maya Stark (seven under) won the US Women’s Open and Minjee Lee (four under) the Women’s PGA Championship.

The position of Paula Reto at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship after rounds of 73, 75, 78 and 75 at PGA Frisco, Texas. She was the only South African to make the cut, finishing at 13 over par.

The score achieved (two under par) by Daniel Bennett in the strokeplay format of the British Amateur at Royal St George’s. He was the only South African out of eight to qualify for the matchplay where he was beaten 4 & 3 by Frenchman Mattis Lefevre in the third round.

The finishing position of both South Africans to make the cut at the US Open at Oakmont – Christiaan Bezuidenhout and Thriston Lawrence. They carded six-over-par 286s on the par-70 layout. The winner JJ Spaun (one under par) was the only golfer under par for the 72 holes.

GolfRSA National Squad member Sam Whateley qualified for the 125th US Women's Amateur in August after a three-shot victory at the 76th North Carolina Women's Amateur Championship – firing rounds of 71, 71 and 66 at Cutter Creek Golf Club.
